If you’re searching for a lively atmosphere, look no further than Pantai Cenang on the west coast. Sunbathe on the loungers, swim in the turquoise ocean, or enjoy an exciting range of water sports. For those who like just a little less hustle and bustle, head to neighbouring Pantai Tengah. Water sports are available here too, as well as boat tours and sunset cruises.

Visit Black Sand Beach to see the black and gold sand for yourself. The cause of the black sand is unknown; however the amount of it is reducing, so see it before it’s too late. Adjacent Shark Bay Beach is a lovely place to swim, enjoy a picnic, or stroll up the promenade.
